President Biden, appearing at a rally in Raleigh, N.C., on Friday, acknowledged that he doesn’t debate as well as he used to but said he wouldn’t be seeking reelection if he “didn’t believe with all my heart and soul I can do this job.” His comments followed Thursday night’s debate in which Biden struggled through a raspy voice and uneven delivery and former president Donald Trump threw out a blizzard of personal gibes and falsehoods.
