The gun trial of President Biden’s son Hunter is getting underway earlier than usual Monday morning, scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m. Eastern time. The defense team must say whether Hunter Biden will testify, and any remaining issues will be dealt with in court in Delaware. The prosecution rested its case Friday morning, having presented extensive evidence of Biden’s crack cocaine addiction in the years leading up to and around the time he purchased a gun in October 2018. Biden’s lawyers argue that prosecutors have not offered evidence that their client was on drugs when he bought the gun and signed a federal form attesting that he was not using illegal substances, or that he took drugs during the 11 days the gun was in his possession.
