Airline websites, including Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, weren’t working fully in Monday’s disruption of Amazon Web Services, a backbone of many sites.

“We can confirm increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region,” Amazon said on its AWS dashboard early Monday.

The airlines didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Some reservations weren’t showing up on airline apps while customers complained on social media that they couldn’t check in or drop off bags.
