URBN’s total company net sales for the three months ended 31 October (Q3) increased by 12.3% to a record $1.53bn compared to $1.36bn in the same period last year.
Its gross profit rate increased by 31 basis points compared to Q3 2024 and its gross profit dollars increased 13.3% to $563.3m from $497.3m.
URBN’s net income was $116.4m in Q3 2025 compared to $102.9m in the same period last year.
URBN CEO Richard A. Hayne said: “We are pleased to report record revenues, profits, and earnings per share for the quarter.
“Trends observed last quarter have remained consistent with broad-based comparable sales growth and robust results in the Retail, Subscription, and Wholesale segments. These results underscore the strength of our diversified business model, which enables us to continue capturing market share, and drive consistent long-term growth.”
Anthropologie’s net sales rose to $634.8m in Q3 2025, up from $587.9m in the same prior-year period.
Free People’s net sales climbed to $399.3m in Q3 from $365.9m in Q3 2024, Urban Outfitters’ net sales rose to $339.8m from $300.6m in Q3 2024, and Nuuly’s net sales were up to $144.6m from $97.2m the year before.
Meanwhile, URBN’s Menus & Venues brand saw the most modest net sales rise from $10.3m in Q3 2024 to $$10.8m in Q3 2025.
In terms of segment, its total Retail segment net sales increased 9.6%, with comparable Retail segment net sales increasing 8%.
Subscription segment net sales increased by 48.7% primarily driven by a 42.2% increase in average active subscribers in the current quarter versus the prior year quarter.
Wholesale segment net sales increased 7.6% driven by an 8.4% increase in Free People wholesale sales, primarily due to an increase in sales to speciality customers.
As of 31 October, total inventory increased by $46.5m or 5.9%, compared to total inventory in Q3 2024. Total Retail segment inventory increased by 6.3% and comparable Retail segment inventory increased by 7.4%. Wholesale segment inventory was flat. The increase in the Retail segment inventory was due to increased sales.
