UK-based accountancy practice Phipps Henson McAllister (PHM) has appointed Andy Greenhalgh as its new audit head.
The company said the appointment supports the expansion of its client offering and reflects increased demand for assurance services.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Greenhalgh has more than 20 years of audit and advisory experience across a range of accountancy practices.
His work included leading audits for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and owner-managed businesses, as well as providing advice to solicitor practices.
PHM said this background aligns with its core client base.
In his new role, Greenhalgh will head PHM’s audit department. His focus will include strengthening service delivery and providing insights designed to support client decision-making.
Greenhalgh said: “I am thrilled to be leading the audit team at PHM. My aim is to build on the strong foundations already in place, grow the audit department, and deliver even greater value and insight to our clients, helping them navigate their business decisions with confidence.”
