Söderberg & Partners, a Swedish wealth management group, has made investments in three UK-based adviser businesses as it seeks to grow its operations in the country’s financial services sector.
The investment size was not disclosed.
The three firms are MoneyWeb Financial Advisers, Oakwood Asset Management, and Liberty Partnership.
MoneyWeb Financial Advisers is located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The firm manages £300m ($400m) in assets and serves over 600 private clients along with 50 corporate entities.
Oakwood Asset Management, which operates out of Hertfordshire and Essex, was founded in 2009 by three partners. The business employs seven advisers and has £600m under management.
Liberty Partnership is based in Lincolnshire and recently opened a new office in Bourne. It advises on more than £240m in client assets and employs financial planners, estate planners and paraplanners.
Söderberg & Partners CEO Gustaf Rentzhog said: “We are delighted to announce the next wave of investments we are making in fast-growing advice firms.
“As we expand our position in the UK marketplace, we are proud to be working closely with these businesses, which are so important to the people they serve.
“Söderberg & Partners looks forward to supporting these firms as they keep striving to deliver great outcomes and provide personal service to their clients.”
In December 2024, Söderberg & Partners confirmed investments in three independent financial adviser firms – Hoyl Independent Advisers, Intelligent I-FA, and Mosaac.
Hoyl operates nationally from Cromer, Norfolk, while Intelligent I-FA provides planning services throughout the UK from its base in the Midlands. Mosaac offers advice on investments, pensions, mortgages and protection to both businesses and individuals.
“Söderberg & Partners takes stake in three UK adviser firms” was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
