What if you are on the phone and can have a live session with all your favorite influencers, marketers, or celebrities? That’s what Club House exactly is.
The clubhouse is one of the most exclusive social media apps, which allows you to chat in real-time, bounce new ideas using your voice instead of text, share stories, or collaborate.

We are going Live on #ChampsTalk – Twitter Chat Session with @dennisyu | Digital Marketer, Speaker and CEO at @BlitzMetrics????
He will be discussing about the hottest social network #Clubhouse???? pic.twitter.com/db7R4Ygjd6
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
First of all! we would like to thank @dennisyu for giving us his valuable time????
Now starting with our first question: What was your main motivation behind joining #Clubhouse? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/UgbtGJgkMd
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
Glad to be here! I enjoy the opportunity to rekindle relationships with people I’ve not talked to in a long time. Plus meet cool new people. The authenticity of voice-only is so different than with other platforms. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Thanks for the session today. Just curious to know, should Marketers and Influencers see Clubhouse as an opportunity to unlock new wonders?#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
I believe it has an opportunity for great things, especially with how popular it is. We’ve seen that it’s very easy for different individuals to collaborate, and that’s always cool to see. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Yeah, Indeed… It grabbed a lot of attention in a short time span but due to its restricted and invite-only strategy do you think it would help a larger audience in any way?#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
Your question here is proof that it works, since people who aren’t in the conversation are hearing about it. Clubhouse has grown through FOMO, so restriction helps it grow.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Q2. What are your favourite #Clubhouse “Clubs”, and who are their moderators? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/AtyEQAhMbg
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
I’m a big fan of the Facebook Marketing Secrets club. I host rooms there every week with Larry Kim and other folks who are pro at Facebook. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
A few weeks ago, @Clubhouse suffers a data breach. How would you compare its security with the other social media giants? Do you think clubs should have an encrypted mechanism?#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
Too early to say, since we don’t know the full details of their white label audio hosting partner or what exactly they are doing with the data.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Just curious to know, how much time you spend on @joinClubhouse? ????#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
2-3 hours per week.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Did Elon Musk’s tweet on inviting Vladimir Putin to Clubhouse give the platform an enormous PR boost? #ChampsTalk
— Fahad Ahmed (@Fahad_Ahmed94) March 3, 2021
Of course, since that would drive more conversation.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Q.Will Clubhouse become an alternative to podcasts? #Champstalk
— Ali Hamza (@ialihamza91) March 3, 2021
It could definitely be seen as that, especially from the vast majority of admins and topics, but I’m sure podcasts will still hold their value for a while. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Q3. #Clubhouse announced that it will soon work on an android version, do you think that it will help the company reach an all-new level of success? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/sOdI9cQqaS
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
The Android version will easily triple their user base, which has grown from 4 million to over 10 million in the last month. I’m curious to see how this affects the intimacy we’ve had with smaller groups. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Hii! What are the features that sets Clubhouse apart from other social networks? #ChampTalks
— Marium Fahim Khan (@marium_fahim) March 3, 2021
The invite-only (for now), audio-only, and the ease of collaborating is definitely appealing for a social platform. #ChampTalks
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
True that! Also the ability to join in on the conversation in real time is a big deal, no? Do you such conversations are better than the ones that are carried out on other platforms? #ChampsTalk
— Marium Fahim Khan (@marium_fahim) March 3, 2021
It is a big deal, it adds a very interesting dynamic, especially on a social platform. It has the ability to be a more concentrated conversation as individuals can communicate in real time (Versus a Facebook live, and one person is chatting, and one is commenting). #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
True, I agree! It’s great to hear your insights on this ????
— Marium Fahim Khan (@marium_fahim) March 3, 2021
Q4. Do you think the invite-only approach helps #Clubhouse retain its exclusivity? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/5aFetidbxf
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
The FOMO is what powers Clubhouse growth. Invite-only means that getting access is precious– especially since initial users are celebrities. I enjoyed having folks like Grant Cardone and Tai Lopez in my rooms. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
That’s a good one… “Getting access is precious”#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
@dennisyu Do you think in future one-on-one chats option in Clubhouse might help influencers to get more business? #champstalk
— Aysha Faseeh (@Foosa25) March 3, 2021
It definitely has potential, as it could open up opportunities such as paid memberships. But we’ll see how it evolves ????
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Thank you so much, Dennis, for your insight ???? #champstalk
— Aysha Faseeh (@Foosa25) March 3, 2021
Q5. What is your opinion on the private calls from the Clubhouse rooms? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/abQQu06ryw
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
Clubhouse is still in beta, so we are not sure how rooms and clubs will evolve. Perhaps private calls will allow paid coaching programs to flourish, just like paid club membership. Clubhouse will use access, not ads, to monetize. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
So you think that Clubhouse will evolve into a freemium app rather than a free one in the future? #ChampsTalk
— Marium Fahim Khan (@marium_fahim) March 3, 2021
The app will be free, but charge for club and other access.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Q6. How can start-ups leverage the power of #Clubhouse? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/MAqUrAsFzG
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
There is no need for a budget to engage in Clubhouse. Build real relationships and share real expertise. Perhaps you could pay a high-profile person in your industry to moderate, but I don’t see paying for endorsements working out. Maybe sponsorships to some degree.#ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
That’s a good one!
And, how do you leverage @joinClubhouse for your business? Any tips please?#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
You build relationships with potential clients/customers and with partners who have your target audience. Demonstrate expertise and that you care– it’s that simple.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Interesting! So you don’t think that influencer endorsement will be a big thing on Clubhouse? #ChampsTalk
— Marium Fahim Khan (@marium_fahim) March 3, 2021
It’s early, so nobody really knows. But I think outright endorsement goes against the authenticity of the platform.
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
That’s good advice, @dennisyu
! Looks like our team should focus on running rooms too. But I think joining an already running room as a mod would act as a catalyst. #champstalk— Sameer Ahmed Khan (@Sameerpeace) March 3, 2021
Q7. Do you think the new or similar versions of #Clubhouse, such as Spaces from Twitter will give the platform a tough competition? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/i5rVSXX0Ct
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
They are completely different products. Spaces is not about status, room size, or ego– at least so far. I’ve been in rooms with high profile folks that have only 10-20 people. Clubhouse does have a lead here, of course, plus the funds to build what they want. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Q8. How do you take time to give back to the community, considering that you have a pretty strict schedule? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/CPNEJbhzl4
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
I help others who also believe in paying it forward. In other words, apprenticeship, which creates more jobs. I love working with folks like @GrahamTroxel, who are learning digital and will soon help others follow in his footsteps. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Well said! Community is everything, it helps to gain trust and grows a business with a high retention rate.#ChampsTalk
— Mustaasam Saleem (@MustaasamSaleem) March 3, 2021
Q9. Lastly, who do you think we should consider for our next live chat session? #ChampsTalk pic.twitter.com/eFuJUm1ExY
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
You should pull in Glenn Vo, founder of Nifty Thrifty Dentists. He’s a successful dentist and entrepreneur with a large following. #ChampsTalk
— Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) March 3, 2021
Yay! We have another “Champ” recommendation, @vietlphie by @dennisyu, thank you so much ????
Hello, Glenn Vo happy to connect. We would love to host you at #ChampsTalk????
— Social Champ (@SocialChampSays) March 3, 2021
And that’s it for today!
Thank you, @dennisyu for your great and informative insights on #Clubhouse ????
