Hit musicals “Hamilton,” “Wicked” and “The Lion King” have introduced they may return to the stage on Sept. 14.
The information was introduced Tuesday on “Good Morning America” by solid members Alexandra Billings, who performs Madame Morrible in “Wicked,” Krystal Joy Brown, who performs Eliza in “Hamilton,” and L. Steven Taylor, who performs Mufasa in “The Lion King.”
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo had introduced final week that shows on Broadway shall be allowed to open once more on Sept. 14, and tickets are at the moment on sale at full capability. Cuomo stated he prefers theaters to require vaccinations, however that the state can’t mandate it.
“September is a long way away,” he stated. “They will have to make a market decision, because they need a high capacity. So see where we are in September, and they will have a range of options. My option that I like is 100 percent vaccine.”
Broadway theatres had closed on Mar. 12, 2020, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
