Russia has launched its biggest Shahed kamikaze drone attack yet on Ukraine, primarily targeting Kyiv, Ukraine’s air force says.
The overnight mass drone attack hit different districts of Kyiv, eyewitnesses said.
Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Saturday fragments from downed drones had struck dwellings and other buildings, injuring two people.

Ukraine’s air force said the attack was Russia’s largest Iranian-made drone strike of the war.
Klitschko, writing on the Telegram messaging app, said drone fragments had hit apartment buildings in at least three districts of the Ukrainian capital.
Fragments from an intercepted drone had started a fire in a children’s nursery, he said.
